Kinesiotape & Cupping

Kinesiotape

Kinesiology tape, also known as KT tape, is a thin, textured, stretchy tape that is sometimes used to help relieve pain from some musculoskeletal conditions.

For decades, kinesiology tape has been used by amateur and professional athletes, trainers and rehabilitation specialists to support and activate muscles, improve blood flow, reduce swelling and relieve pain. In my office I tend to use kinesiotape for acute back and neck sprains and sports injuries.

Cupping

Cupping is a very old technique that has its basis in traditional Chinese medicine. I use soft silicone cups which are very comfortable when applied.

Cupping can be very helpful for some chronic injuries and chronic muscle tightness.
